Default Atv for dragging horse arena.

I am hoping to purchase an atv to help with barn chores. I especially need something with enough torque to stand up to the constant turns of dragging an arena. I have never owned an atv. Does anyone have a suggestion about what I need to be looking for?

That would be an awfull lot of work for an atv as thise drags are not light in weight! Pretty tough to swap a tractors job for an atv have it work well.

Like Kymco said that's asking a lot for an ATV to do regularly. There are some that are capable but I think your money is better spent on something better designed for that type of work like a small tractor.

It really depends on the size of the drag you'll be using and the material you're dragging. There are drags designed for ATV's that don't produce too much drag in typical materials like sand or loose loam. An ATV sized drag might not have the weight to drag gravel out smoothly without adding weight. Most any 4wd ATV with a low range can handle the smaller drags out there. I'm thinking this: Strongway ATV Drag Harrow — 60in.L x 48in.W | Northern Tool Pretty much all the major brands have quads like I'm describing. Polaris and Can-Am tend to have the most torque and HP per cc. If money isn't a big issue both makers also have 6 wheel ATV's with true 6wd on demand. Polaris makes theirs with a 570 and Can-Am has a 650 and 1000.
