Default 750P Overheating Maybe?

Hey guys need some help?
My machine seems to fill up its collant reserve tank after heating up. I think I have it jetted properly?I changed my jetting from 155f-160r to 160f-165r after I had talked with MD. It seems to run cooler now but still spits out collant. I just replaced the radiator cap with a 1.6 instaed of a 1.1, and replaced the termostat. I have a temp. gauge and it didn't get above 190 F. It usually ran around 160 F.
After it cools down collant doesn't seem to go back into the motor or radiator. When I open the radiator cap there is pressure in it.
I looked on NYROC techs tips and followed what he had to say, everything checks out.
I hope it isn't anything major!
Please can someone help me out!

Bill, sorry I can't help with your problem, but I just wanted to say.

You have the sickest, coolest, looking P650 I have ever seen. Damn I am green with envy of your lime green prairie.

Not to mention all that extra H.P.

Good luck with your problem.

one questoin was the pull start cover from the 700 a direct bolt up? I think I am gonna get one. I will never get this thing pull started anyway

wildwill,

Where did you get your front bumper? Is it the same as Mike Penlands? I had asked him about his and he said he was developing one with pro armor, but it would be another month or so.

Where's you temp gauge sending unit located? I'm thinking you may be running hotter than you believe. You shouldn't have a boil-over problem at 190. Is the fan running alot?
If the coolant doesn't go back from the overflow bottle to the cooling system when it cools down, is the radiator low?
The richer you jet it, the cooler it will run. If everything else checks out you might want to fatten the jets until it runs poorly, and then back it off a bit.

letcherKY,
The cover does bolt on directly, you will need to replace the gasket as well as buy the Kawasaki sticker. The new cover is made of steel, and it starts to rust after washing it. So you may wo'nt to paint it or powder coat it.
I can pull start mine when it is warmed up!
Thanks

Dan,
AC racing products make them for around $120. You will have to drill some holes in the bottom of it, if you have a skid plate on the front.
LOL

Nova,
It is located right passed the cap and thermostat just before it enters the radiator. This is were I figured it is at its hottest point.
It doesn't boil over, it fills up the tank and doesn't seem to return after cooling down.
I filled the radiator slowly, with machine jack up in front, till no more could fit. Then filled the reserve tank half way.
With these jets I need to open up three 1in holes in the air box for it to run at its best. If I open up more it starts to lose some power(boggy)
With the air box closed up it sputters on the top end.
I think I have the jetting correct?
Today I will try to call MD, I tried yesterday but it was busy!
Thanks for your help!

You have a bad head gasket. Take the heads off and see if the sleeve has droped down below the cyl. If they did'nt press them in good this could be problem,or you ran it lean at one time.

Is there a fix if a sleeve has come loose? Maybe a leakdown test would tell you which cylinder is affected.
