I have been riding atv's for like 5 years now and I am starting to get into wanting to mod a quad and when I read about mods I here about clutch kits. And I want to know what exactly a clutch kit does

 

Changes the engagement RPM, and the upshift rate. You can tune a CVT to give your more power for pulling, or better acceleration, or better driveability.

Most 650 owners have installed a "Black spring" from EPI to give our belts longer life (less slippage). Others have done more extensive clutch changes.
