Prarie 650 2004 suspension setup???
#1
As of 2003, all the biggest utility 4x4's had 4-wheel independent suspesion except Suzuki and Kawasaki (not sure about the Bombardier). My question is: will the 2004 model Prarie 650 have 4-wheel independent or are they going to keep the same monshock in the rear? Thanks

Nobody really seems to know the answer to your ? yet, mainly because no CONFIRMED info is out yet on the '04 Prairie, other than rumors. Rumor #1- Prairie 650 to be bump up to a 700 Prairie in the model yr of '04 w/the same present axle set-up. Rumor #2- Prairie 650 stays as a 650, same everything, a new Prairie 800 w/IRS will complete against the other monster 4x4's.
Rumors are just rumors but don't be surprised if you do get to buy a Prairie 700 in '04.

My dealer (kawi/arctic cat) said that the 650 V Twin is going to be in Artic Cat's soon.....he also said that the 650 had to be even more de-tuned since the torque of the V Twin was breaking stuff.

I really hope they don't put the prairie motor in a artic crap i mean cat, not that it would be a bad thing for artic craps i mean cats they need all the help they can get... my father in law has a 300 artic cat and he hates it he is always working on it.

I would like it to stay the same at least for another year. Bikes are getting to be like computers, you buy what you consider the best, then six months later It is a slow POS. At least let me enjoy another year among the top. It dont have to be the best, I just want it to be in the running.
