I'm getting ready to order a new set of cams. I called CWR today to get pricing on both billet and re-grinds. It was suggested that I have the rocker arms hardened before installing the new cams. The explanation was that the weld on the regrind is a harder metal and could wear the rockers. Anybody had this problem? Is it worth the money to have this done? Would I have the same problem with the billets?
