Im 14, and im thinking of geting a a kfx 400. If i was 2 get one what other kind of stuff would i need to maintain it???....chain oil etc?

 

Depends on what type of riding you're going to be doing but I'd start with oil filters. You can't change it too often. Get a good air filter cleaner. If you're going to be riding in the sand, I'd avoid any type of chain lube that can cause the sand to stick to the chain. It plays hell on the O-Rings. Don't use a high pressure washer when you clean it. It explains it in you manual. READ THE MANUAL. The manufacturer knows what their talking about. If you're going to be riding in rocky areas, get the full skid plate assembly. The plastic doesn't hold up. Good luck.
