What are you guys useing for a Tach on the V-Force. Thanx

Default Help Need Tach For V-Force

Search the web for a product called Tiny Tach. For the V Force you'll need model 2C. It's both a tach and an hour meter. Around 40 bucks including shipping. I used cable ties and put it on the handle bar next to the front brake res. It has two wires one goes to a ground and the other wraps about 3 or 4 turns around a plug wire.

how many rpms will the vforce turn witch tach 0-8000 or 0-10000 help.

A prairie 650 hits the rev limitor at 8200, the v force probable does the same, get the 10,000-rpm

Don't waste your money on the cheap tiny tachs, they are to slow for clutching. Get the digitron or find an analogue unit.

I like my Tiny Tach, but yes, they are slow. Always 1 1/2 - 2 seconds behind.

OK HEAR IS THE TACH autometer part # 19312 has a silver face and the black face w/bracket & cup is 19202 and just the bracket is 19240 the silver face wont come with a bracket just the black these are 3 3/8 10000rpm tachs that will work on a twin cly motorcycle they should retail around 125-150 anywhere that sells autometer gauges can get it this info came direct from autometer hope it helps i just ordered the 19202 for mine .[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
