Default Thanks for the help guys!

Well after about 4 months of quietly watching all of the posts in the Kawasaki and Honda forums I bought my new ATV on Saturday. I got a red 03 650 Prairie. I LOVE this ATV, I am so happy that I bought it. My friend bought a Rincon on saturday also, I like the Rincon but I am very happy with my purchase, I rode all day Saturday and Sunday. I have a couple of questions. 1. Where can I get the best price on a big wheel kit, I want mudlites and the black C series rims. 2. Do I need to wait a certain amount of time before I jet it and get a pipe air filter and that Diamond G Snorkel? Thanks

Congrats on the new ride!! One of the first things you should get is the black driven clutch spring. It will help with belt wear considerably, especially if you are going to be running bigger tires. I would break it in as per your service manual and then do what you want for mods. There are a lot of guys who say "drive it like you stole it" right off the getgo, but I wouldn't hold it at WOT for long. Don't be scared to give her the gas, but don't hold it wide open to see how fast you can get her to go----not yet anyway!! Have fun and ride safe.

Congrats pank11 you made the right choice, you will love it im sure. I agree with mastrblastr the Black spring is a good place to start, And a good break in is important, let those valves seat. As far as moding goes, if it were me I would wait for your warranty to mature a little. You dont have to wait the whole time, but I would ride it enough to make sure there are no bugs before you start alot of modding. Companies usually blame it on you if they can. (Had no problems with mine so didnt have to deal with Kawasaki about waranty issues) You can always take the mods off, but its extra work. Besides you can already smoke your friends rincon anyway Some of the best prices I have seen on the big wheel kits were on ebay. Some have free shipping also. Have fun!!
