allspeed,

I don't remember reading anything about a recall on the rear seal of the axle. I know that some early P650 had a recall issued to replace the axles. I could be wrong but I've never heard anything about this.

Nyroc's Awesome site is

The seal would let oil out around the axle, some 650 have rear boots so this might not be as appearent as it would be with a 650 with out boots on the rear axle. Normally you can tell this by dust sticking to the axle around the seal or you know you have problems when you stop your quad from a run and then about 15 minutes later you notice a small puddle of oil from under your quad. When the quad sits it will not leak any oil out. My advice is fix it early because if oil is comming out then chances are water is going in. You can tell this by a creamy grey fluid in the rear end when you drain it. There's no recalls on the seals and really they shouldn't be a ongoing problem however there were some early recalls on rear axles.
