Default Just tested DMC exhaust KFX700

Hi all, Just wanted to give some feedback on a new DMC exhaust /with spark arrester I installed. The quality and fit is A1. When the throttle limiter is set to 1/3 the power is about the same. When no limit is set WATCH OUT it romps and is very loud. I rode the bike at gorman stock first then with the DMC installed. Seat of the pants tells me about a TRUE 5-7 hp increase throughout mid- high range. I used the jetting recomended for sea level ( 38 main front, 40 main rear, 3 1/4 out on the fuel screws, air box stock) . Gorman is anywhere between 3000 and 7000 feet depending on where you ride. I rode in the lower elevations (3000- 4500 ft) with no problems at all. You may want to jet a little leaner but I myself prefer to run all my bikes on the rich side to save the motors. DMC will have the quiet inserts available in around a month or so. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the report Chris (Chance on your name)
I just so happen to have ordered DMC/Alien complete set up with two spark arrestors from Rocky Mountain ATV this afternoon. There web page say's out of stock, but wrong, they have them in stock and I'll see mine on Monday. Prices are cheaper then direct, system 575.00 (640.00 direct) and 53.00 each for arrestors (60.00 direct) Plus Rocky Mountain ships for free right now.
Two things, I heard this was one of the quieter performace systems, evidently I heard wrong huh? And did it come with the recommended jets? Thanks alot, Putt

Putt,No it does not come with the jet. But all you have to do is change the front one(stock is 140 main rear, 135 main front) The jet is the Round style Kehin. The exhaust is VERY loud. I see you ride a Harley so as you know loud pipes save lives. besides it sounds WAY COOL!Hope this helps.

I love this exhaust system. I have an R4 on my 650R, Pro Circut T4 TTR90, and have owned FMF exhausts and this is by far the best system in terms of quality and performance.

you can get it at Rockymountainatv and yes the dealer will put it on and jet it if you want. Mine did it for $55 which I thought was a good deal.
