What do you think I should get for my V-Force for a pipe?

I think I may only get a slip on, my dealer told me the dual Pro Circuits were around $700? So I was looking a little cheaper than that. What kind of gain can I expect with a slip on and a K&N filter if I can find one. Any recommendations appreciated. Thanks....

Go with a full exhaust, save up if you have to. We raced a v-force last month in a 24 hour desert race and were beat by Duncan Racing's Kawi. I think they were running a Yoshimura dual exhaust and not only did it sound great, but it ripped. If I see Doug Eichner at the track today I'll find out what they were running.

Do you know if the Yoshi's are available yet, and how much? I was told K&N filter should be out now by my dealer, can anyone confirm? I remember the Yoshi's picture, they looked sweet! I have to be under 94db at Silver Lake though, do they also have baffles? Thanks.

I filled out a form on K&N's site to get an E-mail notification when their filter is available for the 700, so far no word from them yet. I believe the stainless Yoshi's are around $825 and the titaniums are around $975.

Wow. 92 db's is pretty quiet. Does it actually sound like the claim is truthful? I'm glad the pipe companies are starting to make quieter pipes for us non racers.

I was wrong earlier, Eichner had his V-Force at the track yesterday, and he was running a Dual Fat Boy 4 system. I don't know if Duncan is selling it yet, but it seems to work really well. There were some other sweet bikes there including a Duncan KFX400 and a Alba/TBR Products Suzuki z500 which were tearing up the track. I'll try to post some pics.
