We should be VERY afraid, it looks very menacing....

 

It looks like it is going to be one very bad quad, it also has a high compression rate, it is very light weight and the stock suspension on it should out handle and stock four wheeler out there. I just want to see how fast it is now. But I guess I am going to stick with my new raptor for now.

 

Its also expensive. I too want to see how fast it goes and I would love to see a dyno of a YFZ dirt bike and the YFZ quad just to see how the motors are different.

 

Should be a good racer. Hopefully Yamaha did their homework and didn't slap the 450 engine on top of the Raptor suspension.

 

It has long travel suspension with rezzies all around. I want to know how they got the weight down with a steel frame?

 

Yea it looks awesome, that YZ 450 motor has MASSIVE power, but it is WAY to high, 6900 bucks for a quad with no reverse!!! I would love to have one for a 2nd quad, but not as my primary...

 

I thought the same thing but it looks to be marketed as a racing quad so at $6800 it really isn't over priced. Raptors were going for $6500 and they weren't set up to race.

I'm holding on to my trust Mojave and see where the dust settles with the new generation of sport quads. The Z400 really fits my wnats and needs but stil, wnat to wait to see what Honda does, also, Bombi may have something under wraps as well.
