UNBIASED V-FORCE DRAG COMPARISON

I just got my V-Force and I was curious about how it stacks up against Bomb DS 650's, Predators and Raptors. I know there have been numerous postings concerning this topic but it always turns into a testosterone-fueled bull$h!t session. If all of the aforementioned wheelers are in stock trim, who wins in a straightline drag in 100 ft., 200 ft, 300 ft and beyond?

Well, If you leave those measurements in FEET, then the V-force does pretty darn good. It after 300ft, that the other bikes catch the V-force and start pulling on it.
You see ALL quads have to be Detuned from factory, and GEARED down so that they cant exceed 73 mph. Well a "conventional" four wheeler can be geared down to make this happen relatively easy, and they also can give it a Rev-limiter that can insure that it will not exceed the requiered limits. BUT the v-force is an Auto,AND it is shaft driven, so the only way Kawasaki could keep this quad in the low 70's was to put a progressive CDI box that contenuiosly(sp) retarted the ignition, thus choking the hell out of the motor in the UPPER rpm range, So thats the biggest reason why the V-force is easily past by most quads ON TOP END.
SO to answer your question, The V-force is one tough cookie to beat in 300ft,and less, but after that it plains off and stops accelerating.
Bigger.

I have a Predator and a KFX 700. I could not do any side by side drags, but I was able to do 300', and 660' time drags. With me being rider on both atv's, I guess you could say there was equal rider experience. In the 300' time, the 700 did it in 5.76 sec, and the Pred did it in 5.81. And when you fiqure in the time and distance, the 700 would of beat the Pred by 3' or 1/2 a bike lenth in 300'. This was done on hard pack dirt. The 660' time were done on sand, and both atv's don't have very good tires for sand, so neither had a advantage. In 660' or 1/8 mile, the 700 did it in 11.06 sec and the Pred did it in 11.02. So with the distance and time, the Pred would of beat the 700 by 3' or 1/2 a bike lenth in 660'. So you can see, there very close with equal riders. But side by side races will very, but the chances the 700 would win is more likly. There are to many things that can go wrong with a manual atv in a drag race, starting in wrong gear, miss shift, shift to early, or shift to late. With the auto, it's just push and go, and tring to keep the nose down. So like biggerisbetter said, in a short drag, the 700 is hard to beat, but it having a auto has a lot to do with it, but in longer drags, the others catch up. With a new CDI tho, this most likly won't happen, they all will be close.
