Default Dial-A-Jet install Question

I am in the process of installing Dial-A-Jets on p650. Hope I don't have to
remove carbs. Is the main jet hiding behind the allen headed screw sticking down from the
bottom of the float bowl? This screw looks almost too small too drill and tap as called for.
Also is the brass slotted screw also in bottom of float bowl the low speed
mixture adjustment and what is usually the best setting for it.

Any help is appreciated. Trying not to screw this up.
