Default Knock in CVT

I have a knock in the CVT that sounds like it is coming from the Primary side. Got about 500 miles on it. It started after I installed my snorkel. I don't think it is related although I noticed it right after the installation. Has anyone experienced this with or without a snorkel?

Someone suggested that it is rattling due to the engine running rich (Which is a whole other problem I have now) and the idle speed being lower. I removed the cover to the airbox and still had the knock.

I took the cover off and started the engine. I was able to stop the belt and the driven sheave. The knock didn't change at all with them stopped. So I don't think it has anything to do with the driven side.

Any other suggestion
I'm shut down till I figure it out. I don't want to do any other damage

Thanks for any help

DWB
thanks for the search. I should have thought of doing that myself. I'm going to replace the wear shoes and see if that fixes it. I'll let yall know.
