P650 cvt question?
How long should the wear guides on the drive clutch last? And how hard is it to replace them? (NYROC this would be a good one for your site or did I miss it somewhere?)
Also what other parts should I be looking at in the CVT that need to be replaced. The only other parts that I could think of would be the 4 buttons in the driven clutch. This is my first CVT and I'm trying to learn as I go.
Thanks again.

P650 cvt question?
I haven't talked to many people who have replaced those shoes yet. They always make a little racket, if you are going by the noise they make at idle. I think they should go more than 2k. Those things are do easy to do, I bet most guys wouldn't need a tech tip for it.
I think the buttons should last along time too. This depends on dirt, riding style, and how long you let the machine run on a loose belt, whether you greased them when you adjusted them, etc.
The only bad thing to do is the bushing in the driven clutch. There is a guy or two making the bushings for us so we don't have to buy the whole thing. I am gonna post that info on my website when I read it again.

P650 cvt question?
NYROC
Are you talking about the bushing in the drive or driven. I've got a pretty bad knock in mine. got about 500 miles on it. Someone suggested that it might be the shoes. I was going to give that a try. Can you change them without removing the primary? I asked about the bushing because I thought about changing the one in the primary while I had it apart.
