Default Help me with my idea on the kfx700

I have ridden a couple different v forces besides my own. It seems the ealier ones had better clutch action. I asked the dealer and he said a change is a good possibility as kawasaki is good for changing parts during the year with out notice. I noticed some people on here like the clutch and some dont. Maybe it depends on when they were produced. Everyone post the last 6 digits of your VIN# and how you like the clutch action on your bike so i can see if my philosophy is correct. Thanks!!

my pre 1000 produced 700 works slick post 1000 produced works crappy.

503011. No complaints, but it does seem a little different than the first one I rode. The first one in felt like it was geared lower, but I only rode it through the parking lot. It felt like a 4x4 manual shift in 1st gear and low range.

So far what every body has posted is proving my theory. Only one post so far has a post 1000 produced and he said it doesnt seem like the first he drove. My pre 1000 made is the same way. It seems like it has low range. Making it easier to handle on the track for sliding due to higher RPM at lower speeds and in riding in tight woods situations. My post 1000 made the clutch feels sluggish and tends to free wheel. I checked them both and the clutch deflection is spot on on both. Maybe this is why dirtwheels liked the clutching of the first bike they rode and not the one in the shoot out. Everybody keep on a postin. Then if i can prove my phylosphy maybe i can do some digging to find out whats different between the 2.

#644 here and throttle response is excellent! Never surprises me with freewheeling either.

Out of curiosity, how many of you got the recall notice about your throttle cable. Apparently that only affected the early #'s also.
