V-Force 785 kit ~~UPDATE
Shotgun,
How is things up north. I used Moose brand cloth/fiberglass 2 in. wide. If you use this stuff becareful it is just like piece of glass. It took some time to get it tight so it wouldn't move butonce it is tight it hasn't moved. I used 2 hoseclamps at each end to hold it tight. If you got the money get it jet coated or ceramic coated is the best, but very pricey. I am waiting to get a dual WB exhaust that will get jet coated. I hear it is possible to get hot spots in your exhaust with the wrap, but I think it works good besides that. You will probably have to jet alittle higher, it makes your exhaust hotter and faster which will help out in the horsepower area. This weekend I am dragging, I just got it back together last week and I am doing some last minute tuning with suspension. I will need to talk to you about some clutch work sometime this summer. As for now I think she is running great. Last time I couldn't get good holeshots but with the help of alltoys helpful hints I think I figured it out. Also I was running with a blown headgasket as well as froze soild rocker shafts and arms in back cylinder, but I still beat a DS 650 in practice and ran 60 MPH in an eight mile. I have the DG holeshot in now also, boy that thing really works good with a modified motor it revs so much quicker! |
