Default swing arm bearing

The swing arm bearing are gone on my 2002 kvf650. They starte to make noise at 1500km now at 1700km there is nothing left on one side! the rear shock is also getting very weak. It wil need to be rebuild or replace at the same time the bearing are repaired. The bike will be out off order for at least 2 weeks or more depending on parts . Since a bought this think used last fall (with 1100km ) I had to replaced the choke cable & spring , I blew the belt, front brake pads are just gone, now rear shock and swing arm bearing. Not impressive, I would think twice before buying one again.

Mine has over 2000km and Mainly just a belt. No brakes, no shock, no swingarm. Too bad, bad luck I guess.

Cross reference your swingarm bearings and put in some aftermarket SEALED bearings. Kawie's design on the swingarm bearings is lame. Also, all you gotta do is get your rear shock recharged (as long as it is mechanically sound). If you want, you can get them to boost your pressure up to about 145 pounds to give you a little quicker rebound.

I have 1800 kms on my 650 and have had minimal problems. Guess you know why the guy you bought yours from sold it now!!!!
