Default lakota and mojave owners.............smoothy hood

I was wondering where the ignition switch goes once you put on a smoothy hood and what else needs to be done for it to fit. Also where can i get some heavy duty clutch springs for a lakota. My lakota isn't starting either and i don't know what is wrong i checked the wires put fluid in my battery and charged it check the spark plug and don't know whats wrong it isn't the starter it cranks fine when i put a battery charger on it,but when off it just won't crank it makes a click, then won't do nothing else.Any help would be nice.

When you put a smoothy hood on you un plug your light and ignition.Once they are unplugged allyou do is start it .That is on a mojave. You dont need the key any more just put switch on run.

you dont need the key besides for saftey, all the key does is complete a cut-off circuit, when its on the ON position the shut-off circuit is not complete, when its on the OFF position the shut-off circuit is complete. this means if you take out the entire key system the shut-off circuit wont be completed therefore the quad will start, also your starter tihng is prolly a faulty ground, silinoid(dont know how to spell) or you need a new battery
