I just installed my new HiPer carbon fiber rims and ITP new tires. I will be racing GNCC and just had my first Hare Scramble last weekend. I think these new rims are the ultimate. I ordered new Honda DuraBlue rear hubs and switched them out with the original heavy VForce hubs. I recommend you go to NAPA or some other auto parts store and buy a new spindle nut that does not have a spacer as the new hub takes up more room on the spindle, you will see what I mean. the whole thing took me only 30 minutes and I think the new Force is hot looking. The beadlocks rings come in a bunch of colors and are so tough. The rims are modular so if any part somehow, get ruined you can replace that part only. I will try to post pictures of my new mods and changes to the V.

So what about the width? Do you need spacers? And where did you order the hubs from? Thanks for the info!! Much appreciated!

I order all my stuff from Ronnies! Yes you will need spacers in the rear, the front is perfect. If you call Ronnies ask for Aaron at ext.120 and tell him the crazyman Bela Gombar sent you he will hook you up!

what is the weight difference now with the new carbon fiber beadlocks over the stock tire? It is my understanding that the back stock tires and rims weigh a heavy 27lbs each.

I did not weigh the new rim and tire combo's, however I never really thought about it until i took the old wheels off and grabed the new ones and wow definitely a big weight difference, these carbon fiber rims are much lighter than the stock ones, and hopefully much stronger. The other big difference was that stock handlebar, God wait till you see how heavy that thing is , if all the other parts on this monster are so heavy no wonder this quad weighs 516lbs.

kawi, what type of usage do you plan to utilize this new wheel/tire combination in? Dragging? Trail Riding? How do they feel so far compaired to stock?

Brewster I spoke with OldManWheeler about the HiperTech CF Beadlocks and he mentioned that after adding spacers the rears were not much lighter then the stock wheels.
Just fyi

Well you have to switch to the 400 ex hubs (4/110 with 24 spline) hyper tech does not make a application for rears on a kfx700. Then I guess the ex400 wheels have a smaller offset then the KFX wheels. Which would require spacers to regain the stock width. I was just looking at the Lonestar Billet Hubs, and they are lighter then the stock KFX ones so...
