Default Mojave Conversion To KLR250 CDI

If I have no other engine modifications except for a SuperTrapp IDS2 exhaust and re-jet, is it worth converting my Mo to the KLR250 CDI?? The best price I've found so far is $270.00, but I'm still searching. I don't want to spend a lot of money if the performance payback is minimal.

Thanks!!

from what i hear, the only reason to get a KLR CDI is if you have mods such as cams and piston etc, but if you just want the quality of not having a rev limiter than for 85$ send it to FST and theyll take it out for you. be careful tho, dont wanna float your valves. also the payback is sorta minimali would strongly suggest not buying one for 270 if you really want one ebay gets them every now and then under KLR 250
