Default A hitch for the V 700.

I am looking to get a hitch for the KFX 700 for some light duty pulling. I have done a search on this page and it looks like only the 650 has this as an assesory. I am thinking it can't be that hard to fabricate a bracket that uses the diffy bolt pattern. Sort of like the 650.

Does such any animal exist? If it does not, I can design one and one of my buudies has an oilfield manufactering shop and he could make it up. Would anybody else be interested if I went ahead?

My old Polaris 400 CVT quad had a hitch that I have hauled up to 2500lbs with no issues. All I want is to ferry around some empty boat trailer/sled trailers and maybe a single harrow for floating my gravel driveways from time to time. I see the old guys at the cabin running around in golf carts with hitches pulling a small fishing boat ect. I have to think our V Forces can keep up to a golf cart

I'm not totally sure about the left side, but the right side of the rear axel is the same, & I believe its the same swing arm... if thats the case, any Prairie 650 / 700 Prairie hitch should bolt on...I have the V - Force rear axel reinforcing ring mounted on my '02 Prairie ( only needed to pry out the skid plate alittle to get it to fit, with the hitch )...I'd recommend going to the hardware store for some longer bolts, as Kawasaki doesn't have long enough bolts for the hitch & the reinforcing ring on the V-Force... sorry, no fabrication required, unless you want to...WAM

I was looking at this on my V-Force too. I think it will work with very little modification. I didn't really compare them side by side yet but they do look very similar.

I have put a hitch on my KXF 700 from a praire. All you have to do is bend the reinforcement ring a little bit when installing it. I could only get it to fit on the inside the the ring. I also had to bend the skid plate a little bit. when you do this is dosn't allow for the bolt to be reinstalled into the skid plate. The whole set up is actualy pretty easy. I mow the grass with mine. I think the neighbors like hearing the DMC Duals for three hours.

You should see me pull whellies with the mower on the back.
This was one of the selling points so my wife would let me buy it.
Then she bought her self a Z400

I did mount my reinforcing ring on the outside, ( didn't want to remove my hitch anyway )...but you will need longer bolts for the right side, there are 2 sizes, remove 1 each & get replacements...I put my quad on a floor jack ( on the center of the axel ( left the skid plate on ))when removing the bolts for the side covers... didn't spill 1 drop of rear fluid...WAM

I will take one. How about some more info on the mowing deal. I mow 6 acres of grass every week!! I switch off between a Cub Cadet 48" and a Troy Built 46". I saw a tow behind mower with a 60" cut and 16 hp for $1499.00 a 60" riding mower goes over 6 grand for the cheap ones!! Seems to me that the tow behind would be the shiznit.
Make a hitch that has a reciever for a wheelie bar!!!!

I went to my local kawasaki dealer and bought the hitch that they had on the shelf for a praire. I thing that all of the hitches are the same but I am not positive. The mower seems to work great with the stck spring I have currently installed the purple drive spring from epi and the stahl is a little to high for mowing. The stahl on the purple spring is the same as the rev limiter on the reverse. Does anyone know what rpm this might be.
