Looking at new exhaust for vforce but do not want a set that is that much louder than stock. How loud are the HMF duals and do you really feel the HP increase?

Also looking for mostly mid and high range boost in power. Are duals or two into one better?

 

I too am looking for exhaust that is not much louder than stock but I do want that meaty sound. You know the harley sound. I also want duals. I don't want exhaust that will rattle my teeth out or annoy people who I ride around.

 

I have seen duals on 2 v forces, LDR and ALIEN.
They are both very loud, harley sound. I was very impressed with the performance over the stock ones I have raced though. The one with LDR was faster then the one with ALIEN.

I have the MBRP's and love them. I got a really good price from my local dealer, just the way they sound was worth the money, and the way it pulls harder with them is OK too.

 

I think he means LRD, but I didn't know they (LRD) made duals for the V-force yet.

 

When we raced the 24 hour desert race near El Centro, Duncan had a v-force they raced with their exhaust and that thing sounded like a v-8 trophy truck, only quieter. I can't think of a more meaty sounding quad and I don't believe it was overly loud.

 

Maybe I should just get the exhaust and worry about the cost afterwards. I just don't like to rejet, I have never done it before and I hear horror stories of quads never being jetted properly again. Maybe its just the crappy Dynojets everyone are using.

 

I didn't have to rejet with my duals, we're probably close to the same elevation Brent. I think we're at 600ft here in Thunder Bay.

 

The alien exhaust is loud, but it sounds awesome. Sounds like a hoped up drag car with a supercharger.
