V-Force Carb Idle Mixture - ???
#1
A question for the mechanics on the forum:
Since the V-Force idle mixture screw is on the motor side of the carb, does it control the amount of gas or air during idle? Everything I've read on carburetion in general says that motor side mixture screws control the gas and airbox side mixture screws control the air flow.
This is important because turning in the screw on a mixture screw that controls gas leans the mixture, whereas turning in a mixture screw that controls the amount of air actually richens the mixture.
I'd just like some confirmation from those in the know about which it is on the V-Force.
Thanks,
Mark
