Prairie 700 close up shots
I got my new toy today and I took some pictures. Some things look different and some look the same.
Pics
I need to pull the P650 up next to the P700 for a closer comparison. However, here are some things I noticed.
The radiator looks galvanized and not painted. The fins may be slightly wider or it is just an illusion. I wonder if it has a coating on it that will help keep the mud from sticking in it.
The radiator fan looks like it might have less, but bigger, blades. Maybe not. It looks similar to the old one though.
The front diff. looks different. It looks smaller to me. I need to go look at the P650 again.
The rear rack is bolted on different.
The rear shock looks similar except it has a cover of some sorts. The spring and base looks a little different too maybe.
The camo looks great. I saw a P360 with the new camo on it and it looked terrible. It was wat too light and tan looking. My P700 has a god mix of colors in it and it looks darker. Good.
The whole front end from the bumper down to the mounting looks different. The bumper is way cool. The winch hole is more open at the bottom. It is definitely easier to get at the radiator with a powersprayer or hose without having to pull off the side panels. That is great, especially for on the trail.
I am not going to open the $69 winch kit, that came with the new machine, as I have plans to sell it. They had one mounted on a P360. It looks just like a Warn 2500 winch kit because that is what it is.
I took it for an initial break in ride around my house (2 acres). I love it! This thing has some major pep.
I'll open up the CVT later and add pics if anything looks interesting.
Now it's time for the goodies to go on.....
