HELP jetting v-force

Default HELP jetting v-force

i installed hmf pipe went with there recommed jets 145/148
it is my understanding that the main jets will only come in at
3/4 to full throttle but i can hear this thing is running to rich at idle
they recommend 2 1/2 --3 1/2 piolet jet setting to start
rev at idle you can see black smoke out tail pipe i have the out only
1 turn now no visible smoke but still sounds rich have to keep idle all the way up
some help guys i have a riding trip planed for sunday

Try putting the back two clips on the airbox lid under the lid to let more air in; use the front two clips to hold it down. That's still weird though, if anything it should have made your V leaner by piping it. Good luck, you sure your choke isn't stuck on?-Carl

i have the air box clips in already ,iswitched too 140/145 its better i guess i know it shoudnt have any thing to do at idle when you gas it in (n) right side pipe smokes black smoke rear cylinder
