Anyone know of a factory or dealer fix for my seat constantly comes unlatched? thanks for any help.

 

This is a common problem ... you're probably not getting the middle tab inserted into the slot on the frame... push down in the middle, while sliding the seat forward into position... if you've been sitting on it with the tab ontop of the slot, you may need to pull the plastic tab out more ... there are 2 tabs, 1 in front, 1 in the middle, & the latch mechanism on the back... hope this helps...WAM

 

NewBeatle is right. I had the same problem - just catch the latch in the middle. (Mrs. Q)

 

Here is an easy test to do. Once you have your seat on and think its in the right place just pull the lever to remove the seat. When you pull it if the seat come up and off then the middle is not latched down. When you pull the lever only the rear of the seat should rise up, not the whole seat itself. Try this and see what happens.
