whats the top speed STOCK

 

73-75 mph

 

its takes a while but i can stay side by side with my predator so thats 75mph. only on top end. when i let a good rider ride my predator.

 

I put the gps on mine and it got 75.6 on paved road..

My cousin just bought a new predator and today I ran my V against him and he had a slightly higher top speed. He pulled away very slowly so I think he had about a 2 mph advantage. Was your predator and the V stock? My only mod on my V is a pink spring and I want to find out if the spring held it back from reaching any higher top speed.

 

Hmm i thiought it was higher than that. I had a freeind go behind me on a paved road going over the damn down at the lake and he said i hit almost 85

 

A friend with a truck or a car, right? Do not trust a speedo on anything, trust a GPS.

 

my predator has a clamp on k&n and white brothers pipe, the vforce has hmf duels 42 main jet in front carb 45 in the back carb. and epi clutch kit red and black springs. one of these day sombody going to come out with a cdi box for the vforce, that should wake the motor up. i dont want go into the motor and make it unreliable.

 

ill remember that bb. thats pretty far off on the speedo compared to the gps. Oh well knowing the speed doesnt change the feel of it.

 

I think I remember in a thread awhile back, about government regulations that a stock atv can't exceed 75 mph.. seems to run true with all that I've heard.. mine usually around 73-75 using my trailtech.
