Hey Kevin, I am convinced on the primary spring change. How do you think the polaris purple will do if I put it in before I get the aliens? I don't want to buy the pink only to change to polaris purple later......thanks

 

The purple I'm using is a Hotseat Performance spring that my Polaris dealer had left over from a clutch kit, I don't believe it can be bought separately from Hotseat. I tried an AAEN green spring AAEN Performance last weekend with good results. I easily took a piped Raptor and a piped & cammed 440ex, but was running dead even with a Banshee that I was beating when I had the purple in, so I switched back. The green is a big improvement over stock and I would prefer it over the pink a lot of people are trying. I have an HPD plain spring on order that is rated higher than anything I've tried yet, so if I get good results I'll let everyone know.

No, thats definitely not it. By comparing the length and size of the coils, I'd guess the specs on the purple I have are around 55/190.

 

kevin m where could i pick up one of them purple polaris clutch springs? do you think a dealer would kno what im talkin bout if i told him bout it?
