I don't have any shaking on my Predator or my older and more beat up 95 Scrambler. I would have the rims checked, something might be out of balance. I can see that causing some arm fatuge. Does it pull at all? It might also be out of allignment.

I have noticed it as well on pavement only. I bent my radius rod badly on a poker run and I noticed the vibration after that. It is probably due to the toe in being set too close after I removed and straightened the rod. . I bent the other rod last March running on the snow covered lake. I set the toe out to be about 3/4".
No wobble at all. Try that if your rims are not bent.
Another thing to consider is the overall trueness of the rim. When I first brought my bike home last spring, I noticed the left fron tire had a bad "hop" in it. I took it to my dealer and they tried the front tires off of 3 other bikes and all had some wobble. some more than others. They gave me the best one to take home. This is partially due to the way they weld the center disk inside the hub itself.

also check your air pressure... it can be critical... it seems as if they ( the manufacturers ), really aren't to concerned about the trueness of the wheels, as mentioned above, but the tires ( even good, reads expensive, tires ), can be very untrue... I had a set of Magnum Billets, with ATR's mounted on them ( all brand new ), I spin balanced them, one took 4 ounces of lead to balance, the other 2 ounces... at 9 PSI, they still had a high speed wobble, when droped to 4.5 PSI, they are now smooth as glass...WAM

I "aquired" this same problem w/ about 5 hours on my bike, only on the back of the bike. After close examination of the tires, I noticed a slight "out of round" wobble on one of the tires. I thought it was an improper seal problem, but it turned out to be a defective tire (belt seperation within the sidewall). Dealer said it has been a common problem for the stock v tires. Dealer replaced tire, problem gone! Good luck.

Allen:
Thanks for the info. Mine has a hop only on pavement. I only ride 1/2 mile to the corner store at the cabin a few times a week so I wasn't going to worry about it. I was racing a buddy down a 4 mile stretch of straight gravel this weekend and no hop. BUT if the sidewall flaw is a known issue, I will be doing a close inspection and chatting with my dealer before my warranty is toast.
