How do you put on a normally closed tether switch on a KFX400?

Default How do you put on a normally closed tether switch on a KFX400?

Hey I just bought a tether switch for my KFX400 and it happens to be a normally closed tether switch and I need to know how to put it on one person told me to connect it to the black and white wire off of the coil and ground the other but that didnt work so if any one knows I really need help here thanks.

lt250, it can be tied in at the coil, or anywhere else as long as it is before the off/on switch on your left handlebar. just decide where you want to mount the switch and make your joints. what color wires do you have on the tether, and what color wires are going to the on/off switch? normally closed just means that the circuit is complete, when the tether is pulled off that makes the circuit open and kills the flow. look through your directions and give me a little more info and i will walk you through it.

It can be done. I bought the Gunnar kill switch and had a dealer install it for $45.00
