I've never had trouble with the kickstarters on my Mojave's. The Mojave isn't that much smaller than the 300ex and it's just as or if not more powerful than the 300ex.

Rooster Honda is to cheap to put on a kick-starer to make their models better. I am sure that more people rather prefer a kickstarter to a battery starter. Doesn't make you feel stupid when everyone around you is kick-starting their quad and you press a button to start it thats not a real quad and battery adds weight to the quad.and the handle-bars you should change.I got longer bars on mine and I never had trouble of touching my knees with the bars.Honda should put some effort in making a kick-starter like the 250r.Banshees,blasters,250r,lt250r,mojave have kick-starters.

I have had my quad for a few years and if you take good care of your quad it will start mine still starts first kick even now in the winter.

MXracer, what the hell are you talking about? too cheap to put a kick starter? it costs more to have electrice start. i never feel stupid when everbody kicks their quad and i hit a button. whats the big deal? my 250r is kick and my 400ex is electric, i don't care which is which. most of the time i don't even notice im kicking or pushing a button.

Kick-starters are better You can't have a race quad with kick start it defeats the whole purpose

Mxracer98, no, I don't feel bad when there are a few kick start machines around me kicking. Actually I feel good hitting a button. It's like showing off. Besides, where I ride there is a mix of all different kinds of quads. Most have electric start, so I fit right in. Around here, the ones with kick starters look stupid. People look at them and think, "What the hell is that guy doing to his quad, oh yeah, he is starting it, sucks to be him." Ever see a Honda 300 2x4 and 4x4, they have both electric start and kick start. They are the only ones to have these two start methods. As for the handlebars, the stock ones are perfect how they are. The ergonomics of the 300EX are excellent (for me) and the handlebars don't even come close to hitting my knees when turning. I think Honda did the engineering more than what Kawasaki did, don't ya think?

Not really then honda would back up the quads they make at the gncc like kawasaki and make a new quad just for that event and most of those quads there are kick starting quads.

Why are you guys fighting over something so stupid? Kickstart or electric start. I personally like kick starter but I'd take a quad with an electric starter. Doesn't really matter to me. The only problem with the EX's is that if the battery goes dead, you'll have a fun time pushing it. Mojave has a better reverse and the 300EX has a better starting.
