Default Mobil 424 equivalent?

Anybody here using anything other than Kawichem or mobil 424 in the Prairie rear diff? My dealer is an idiot, and parts stores don't stock it. How bout' the front diff? I hear lots of you run 20-w50 synthetic. It gets really cold here in the winter (-40f) Any suggestions??

Any hydraulic fluid approved for transmission use in tractors will be fine, AS LONG as it is approved for WET BRAKES, some tractor trans fluid is not rated for wet brakes, check your local farm supply store such as tractor supply or something like that and tell them you need wet brake trans fluid, they will have it.... By the way your Kaw dealer should have or at least be able to order Kawasaki's fluid, which is mobil 424 in a Kaw bottle...It will say kawachem gear and wet brake oil or fluid on the bottle.......
