Hi,
i just got a ´95 Kawasaki KSF250 Mojave. I bought it from privat person. I will get a repair-manual in german soon.
Does anybody have any other usefull things i should know about the mojave.....?
I would like to get informations about known bad habbits an other trick´s!

Wow Germany the home of Porsche! Congratulations on the Mojave it is an excellent machine. I guess the only thing you should no is they are a little short which is great in the woods but be careful climbing hills! My dad learned the hard way with his brand new 1987 Mojave when it flipped and about killed him! But he still loves Mojaves and so do I. be careful and have fun. Don't be intimidated by 300ex-s and stuff because I assure you with the correct modifications the Mojave can hold it's own.

 

Thanx for the warning ! :-) I will go slow uphill ! .. We do not have many possibilities to drive offroad here in germany. Riding in the forest is not allowed. Cross-Tracks are very rare. So i have to drive about 100km to find the next x-track. I can only ride on smal farm ways. But anyway ... ist is very much fun to ride the quad. I was riding a bmw-motorbike for about 12 Years. Since i got the Quad, i did not too much riding the bike ?!.
If it makes same fun in the next year, i will possibly find me a 600ccm Quad.
If you have any more useful tips about the KSF Mojave, it would be very helpfull for me !
