Yes,Yes,and No.
It' got good midrange pull IMO. Should only take 30 min. or so for the first time after that you'll be able to swap springs in 15 or so minutes. Check out Nyroc's web site...Super Helpful. Just type nyroc in the search area and go to one of the posts, his site will be on any of them.

Hey Mudfoot, I was a little concerned about that, but it is actually not that bad especially for drag racing. I have a friend that keeps modding his raptor. He came up yesterday anxious to race. He said he just pick the raptor up from getting the head shaved. I had just installed the silver/gold. I beat him repeatedly in both 100 yds and 250 yds. He was beating me rather easily a couple weeks ago. At that time I had the HPD plain in. Now I have this spring with Duncan Fat Boy 4's and 148/152 jetting with snorkel removed. I actually need a better measuring stick than his raptor, as he is continually tweaking it. That thing stays broken. To date he has spent at least $2500. I need to race bone stock raptor or V. Probably could tell more with the V, since every raptor I race seems to run differently. Before I modded mine, the raptor mentioned above had beaten me worse than anyone. It wasn't even close. I don't even know what all he has done. All sorts of engine mods+jets+exhaust+air box+ gears.

Sorry Sean, didn't mean to get off track on your post. Very easy to install, just note that the large bolt through the center of the clutch loosens clock-wise. There's an arrow on the clutch cover to remind you. You will need simple tools: a phillips screwdriver, a set of metric sockets with long extension (to remove a couple bolts in the cvt cover) and something to use for leverage. I used an old large screw driver. Begin by removing the vent tube from the top rear of the cvt cover(phillips screwdriver to remove clamp). Next, remove all the bolts in the cvt cover. Wiggle the cover a little and remove it. Remove all the small bolts in the clutch cover 10mm I think. Now you will need some form of leverage. This is where I routed the large screwdriver through the "cvt cover guard" and the clutch. Be careful not to bend anything. It will take quite a bit of force to remove the first time. Now, remember what I said above about loosening large bolt clockwise. Remove the bolt (19mm I think). You are in! Replace spring and reverse steps above. Really quite simple once you do it.
