BBBBRRR looks like we are going to need to wear our long johns....and maybe a rain coat as well. I can't believe it is "friiiiicken" supposed to drop into the upper thirties the next few nights....man, I am not ready for this cold crap yet!!!
I got my new Elkas all dialed in, put the pink spring in ( I tried to send it to KOD so he could use it for his testing, but it came back to me about 10 days later), so I figured what the heck and thru it in...very easy to do. Just like everyone says ...works great, good pull, and no free wheel problems. I wish I would have installed it six weeks ago when I first got it. One thing I want to mention that nobody else has keyed on with this spring, is the much quicker, and stronger back shift this spring gives. "As we all know" when riding the V fast and aggressive, the rear brake is sort of wimpy, but with the pink spring being stiffer it seems to pull the sheave back quicker, and allowing for a little quicker deceleration. This allows for a much better entry into a corner, it is very easy to blow a corner with the V, because it sort of coasts into the corner with out much engine braking. This quicker back shifting excites me as much as the performance gain during acceleration. You guys are right ...this is the spring that should come with the V stock!!!
Dph, I'm going to go ahead and try the XCRs, This last set seems to be holding up ok (fingers crossed) ....I really like these tires.........
even though it's always hard, chaotic and not much time, before the race, but I am looking forward to see everyone again..... "hey jeffksf3", we will all be the guys with the Big V's , green ones , orange ones,...."heck" maybe some red ones will even show up too....

I still have the stock rear shock, and my fronts are non rezzy,
inwhich is legal for front shocks in the stock class.......green team has been running aftermarket (non Rezzy) shocks this season also.
