Default V-Force FAQ's on springs, clutching, pipes & jetting

This is a compilation of the dozens of private messages I've received since I started modifying my V-Force. Maybe it can help cut down on the same posts that come up over and over each day.

That's a CFM inline cooler. You put those inline in your hoses and they're supposed to lower the water temp a few degrees.

You write about launching the V in a Drag but I am still a little confused. Is it like brake torqueing an auto car?
Will this wear out the belt a lot faster?

Kevin,

"I have settled on the HPD plain 32/235 with 3 shims as the best combination"

Do you have a part # for your 32/235 springs form HPD. I could not locate them on there web site
www.hpd-inc.com

The part number for a shim is Kawasaki part # 92026.

Thanks

P.S. Nice job on the FAQ

Rocket

That's something I'm going to have to make a note of. HPD uses a different measuring system than everyone else. The 32/235 is the rating to use to compare to other springs, but they are listing it as 55/216. HPD6 is the part #.
