V-Force cooling
#1
Does anyone experience their cooling fan running a lot after shutting off the motor? My V's fan runs a minute or two after a moderate ride but others that have V's in my group don't seem to have that issue. Should I be concerned?

You must drive harder. Actually my fan runs alot too. I've started using water wetter additive in the radiator, since this summer I was riding in 100+ F weather. Now we're down in the 70's and the fan does't run as much. The fan is a noisey little bugger, but I like having it. If you really want to cool down, use something like water wetter. I wouldn't worry about overheating though. I towed a broken sand rail about 2-3 miles through big soft sand dunes in 100F weather and my temp light never came on. That was before I even had the water wetter.

Does Engine Ice work as well as Wetter Water? I did notice during the rides in the Northern country that the fan doesn't come on nearly as much but my primary concern is when we hit the Dunes and the V will definitely be running wide open.
