DynoJet Kit calibration for KFX700
#1
I have installed the Q214 Jet Kit on my ATV Kawasaki KFX700 (equipped with a dual-exaust aftermarket system, with stock airfilter and stock airbox).
At the beginning I installed DJ124 in the front and DJ128 in the rear carb with needles on groove #5. I usually drive 50% of my time below 5000 feet and the remaining 50% above 5000 feet. And was during the first of this ride above 5000 feet that I discovered that the engine was not running properly: it accelerates until the midrange then pauses, stumbles until I back off the throttle.
I therefore moved the needles on groove #4 and now this problem seems to be solved. However, I have the perception that below 5000 feet it is less performing.
Is there anybody who is using DynoJet Kit having higher performances than with stock jetting? In which combination of jetting size and needle?
Many thanks!
