KFX 700 for Trail Riding?
#11
Another thing to keep in mind is that the KFX700 can be tricky on downhills. There is compression breaking as long as you're on the gas, but for some steep downhills, you can't always be on the gas. If you don't keep hitting the throttle, you will start to freewheel down. You get used to it (I have), but the P700 doesn't have that problem. I just figured I'd give you a heads up.

Yeah the first time I rode mine (1st auto atv ive ever rode) I was like oh d@mn the first time I was going down a long steep hill but now im used to it. I love this quad it does every thing I want it too. A friend of mine has a Craptor that he hardly ever rode and I have put many a hour on that thing and I just love the V it's just as fast as his Raptor (piped and jetted) and very user friendly. Plus I like the over all feel of the quad I'm a big bastage 6'6" 330 lbs and all the other sport quad's just don't feel right to me but this one has done every thing I asked it and keep's going with out the slightest whimper.

Hey, Ive owned both and if you want to get a lot of riding done in one day you need to go kfx 700. Yeah, you may not get to play in some of the mud holes that are on the way but Ive found avoiding mud holes adds life to you quad anyway. But I cant knock the prairie because it was such a forgiving fourwheeler. You can get yourself in some of the worst situation and still come out alright. But as always you need to find the fourwheeler that fits you riding, and both are very aggressive fourwheelers that produce loads of controlable power.
