I was looking at the carbs on the prairie and was wondering if it is possible or if any of you have changed main jets without removing the plastic etc. It looks to me like you could pull the bowls off and have access to the main jets withou removing any other parts. Please enlighten me.

When you take the screws out replace them with allen's head screws. You will most likely damage the screws when taking them out anyway b/c they are soft metal and are in very, very tight. When you buy the replacement allens heads buy yourself one of those extended T-handle allens wrenchs. It makes working on the carbs a breeze...
