I was browsing in the Kawasaki section of "Quad Specs", and noticed that in the "Bayou 300" specifications that it has a manual, 5 speed transmission with automatic clutch. Then, in the "Features and Benefits" section, it is claimed that this quad has the "Kawasaki Automatic Power Drive System (KAPS)". Obviously it can't have both, so someone ought to clean up this writeup.

 

Its a manual shift automatic, meaning you dont just put it in drive and go but you shift the gears.

 

Kawasaki's PR release appears in error, attributing the Prairie's transmission to the Bayou. Does the Mojave engine valving mistakenly appear for the Bayou 300 4X4 also (all Bayous have two valves)?
