Will mobile 423 fluid work instead of 424 for the rearend.The guy at the farm parts store has this ,but not 424.He said it was just as good.I don't want to ruin my gears though so I thought I better do some checking first.

ANY hydraulic fluid for tractor transmissions will cross and work as long as they are WET BRAKE APPROVED, make sure it is good for the wet brakes and you will be fine.......
