Default took my vforce to a truck scale

after changing my stock wheels and tires and pipe and taking off ecxess crap like foot gaurds i whent to the truck scale up the street from where i work and weighd an f150 @ 4360 pounds then put my vforce in the back and it weighd 4780 pounds im wondering if there scale is screwed up ...... has anybody put there v on a scale??

I am guessing that the scale is screwed up...I am not sure what the stock weight is but 420 pounds is extremly light it seems

Per Kawasaki.com dry weight is 516lbs stock.
How much stuff did you take off 04Vforce?
From what you mentioned I don't see much more than about 20lbs difference at the most for the stuff you took off.

The place where i can see you losing a lot of weight is in the back wheels. They are re-enforced and to me it looks like you could save some weight there. That is my 2 cents

the tires maybe shaved 10 to 15 pounds. but where did the other 100+ lbs go too?

Unless Kawi lied for some reason?
I have unloaded my V out of the back of a truck before and I don't beleave they lied (that bastard is heavy).

Well thats what i was wondering. What kind of diet did you put that thing on?!? [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]lol j/k. My guess is the scales are off.

LMAO..dont have one YET ...but I have test ridden one and they do feel sorta heavy but plenty of power to over come that but you already know that...

and what kinda diet did you feed it? a steady diet of raptors?
