Has anyone here with a stock or close to stock Prairie drag raced against a stock or close to stock Grizzly 660? Now be honest if you didn't win, what were the results? How bad did you win or lose by?

 

i dont own either of them but i have ridden both. im a honda fan not really much for kawasaki or yamaha but i know the prarie will smoke the grizzly pitifly bad. the grizzlys just suck for having a motor that size. remember this is coming from a honda fan so i would have no reason to stick up for one of the two when i really dont like them just for the fact that there not a honda. but i do have to give kawasaki credit for the prarie, it has awso, power for a utility. but the grizzlys suck i wouldnt take one if you gave it to me

I have about 2 months ago i beat him every time by about 2 quad lengths. i weigh 300lbs i slow it down a bit and the guy on his 660 was about 160 lbs.

 

Grizz 660s have beaten prairies that are out of tune or have clogged filters, but only on mid and higher speed.

Who was that guy with a mouse nest in his air filter? A griz might have beaten him.

 

I raced a Griz up a sand hill with my barely-broken-in AC650 and blew its pants off. Probably had something to do with tires and suspension--both had stock tires, but the bottom line is that he couldn't hang. Maybe the twin has better torque and the hill also brought that to bear as a factor. I don't know.

I didn't race him on flat ground, though. I figured he'd win. Besides, I didn't buy it to run on flat ground.
