Default Single carb for V-force???

I was thinking of making an intake for my wifes V-force,and slapping my 45mm Mukuni(alky) converted carb on it

BUt then I thought it mght be way to much carb for the V-force, cause on the Displacment SPLIT with it being a V-twin. Obviously 45mm would be too much for 350cc ,but didnt really know if the Kawasaki V-twin fired individually(like a harley) or does it have a different timing(cycle)???

Any help would be appreciated!

Default Single carb for V-force???

I was told that Mickey Dulop at Four Stroke Tech, has a kit for a single carb, for the big bore kits he sells... I also believe that ALLTOY's runs a single carb on his turboed / blown Prairies ... either of these sources could offer information if needed

Bigger,
Yes a single carb will work I have run one for some time you will have to make a manifold to run the carb it will handle a 45mm side draft.Your manifold will have to be almost level with the motor and you will have to change the bend of the exhaust by left leg. You can not run the carb on the right side of the quad because of gas lines and such. A filter is the next problem but an adapted K & N will work for that carb. With alcohol you will have to run a volume of 2 times for it to run I beleive you know that. I was running a 165 jet with blower application your carb must be bored and such with a flow optimizer for the Alky so your jet size will be much larger you will also have to have a larger fuel tank to twice as much to go the same distance. One more thing if you have a fire which is a possibility there will be no flame that should be definate thought before undertaking this project. One more thing you will need a great deal of timing advance to run Alky you will must install an adapted ignition even the new unlimiter, if were available for the V Force would not qualify. It is possible if you have a long cold winter like I have here time is on your side LOL.

Alltoys thanks for the info!

I have been running Alky on my DS for alittle over 2 years, and love this stuff.

I think it would be pretty easy to make a manifold, and mount the carb so it would work, but I kinda forgot about the V-forces screwed up CDI, and how it retards the timing so much I may have to hold off until one of you Brainiacs! can come out with a solution(hint hint)

This V-twin is way to much fun to let it sipp on pump-gasYUCK! I look at her, and I know she wants to get liquored UP! Do you think my wife will notice???

P.S. and about the NO FLAME thing. Sometime I'll have to tell you about FourStroke Wars, a Camp fire, me with a gallon can of Methonal, and 14mins "TEXAS flag" chair! LMAO!! (that poor chair)
