O.k. the other night I was installing my new snorkel and had the battery removed...not disconnected, just out of the way of the airbox. I went to use my winch tonight and all I got was a click when I tried to spool in. I can't hear anything when I try to spool out. All the connections appear tight. I've never had problems with this winch before and I've used it alot. Please advise me to what I've done or what is wrong. Thanks

If you have a relay contactor in line with your winch, your switch might be
activating the relay but not making the contact between the batery and
winch. Check the connections at the relay. Usualy the relay is used to
spool in only , unless you have 2 relays. Just make sure all connections
from the winch -switch - relay(if you have one instaled) are connected.
Good luck.
