Default P650 No digtal readout, Electrical problem??

My P650 will not start

While normal trail riding I shut it down for lunch. Later, with the key on, there was no digital readout, no lights, no noise. Changed the three fuses under the seat. Still no joy. Then tried the pull starter. She roared back to life!! But the digital readout speedometer was erratic and she would idle rough and die.

Changed out the battery and still no luck / no change. Anyone have any ideas? Are there fuses other than the three under the seat?

Let's tap into the collective diagnostic minds out there...

The ign switch sometimes does funny things. It has two poles, one to turn accessories on, and the other to signal the CDI to go (1 ohm resistance built in t prevent hotwiring).

HooRa!!! That was it. The 30 amp fuse from the battery was the culprit. Changed it out and off we went.

Still don't know why it blew in the first place. I've got spares in the toolkit now.

Thanks for the quick reply!
