I just noticed that my 03 P650 is leaking gear oil around the axle seal (located on the left side of the axle where the axle meets the rear end housing). I am going to take it to the dealer tomorrow to get it fixed.

Here's my question for you[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img].... I noticed the 04 P700 comes stock with a black cover around each side of the rear axle seals (one on each side of the rear end housing). I imagine that Kaw. got wise to the potential for leaks on these seals and put these covers on to prevent similar problems on the P700. Does anyone know whether these P700 axle seal covers can be installed on a P650?
